A few weekends ago, I made my way over to Dalston Yard street feast and I am convinced, street food is KING.
I felt like a kid in an amusement park with only so many coupons to try out rides, in this case cash represented the coupons. So Imagine my delight when I found out that card payments were accepted at some stalls (10 points for technology).
Back to the story. Food Feast is a weekly ‘festival’ of sorts run by a group of people. To my knowledge they are in Dalston Junction and Lewisham.
It is a yard with stalls of food and drinks from various amazing places such as Orange Buffalo, Mama’s Jerk, Le Bun, Kozel, etc.
I am a firm believer that the places that aren’t so fancy serve the best food. Or maybe food just tastes so much better when it’s not served up in a fancy way…who’s with me?
Here are some pictures from the feast.

The street feast is a nice thing to do on a bright Saturday (when we get those in London) with friends or that special someone (if you’re both confessed foodies). Please do not take him/her here on a first date, especially if he/she is a foodie…you just might unleash an untameable beast.
