Hello Lovely people,

I’m in reflective mode already, it’s only the 5th of December! LOL.

At the beginning of this year, it felt like I had been through some massive changes; I had recently started a new job, I had just graduated from my masters degree and I spent new year’s without my family :(. I felt like a foal learning to walk for the first time, It was a whirlwind of emotions.

One thing I did say to myself as the year rolled in was that I would love to read a lot more. I often opt for personal development books but this year I wanted to broaden my palette a little bit. Did I achieve that? Well, you tell me. Here’s a list of the books I read this year;

#1. The Spider King’s Daughter by Chibundu Onuzo
#2. Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi
#3. Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office by Lios P. Frankel
#4. Thinking Strategically by Dixit and Nalebuff

I’ll be doing reviews sometime soon, watch this space!
Reading is something I would definitely want to ramp up next year, and in years to come. There’s so much to be gleaned from literature and it does wonders for your vocabulary. It also feels soooo good to be able to escape into a different world (cup of tea in hand) and truly get lost in a book. Best.Feeling.Ever
